Latest Indonesian Food Prices: Prices of Chicken, Sugar, and Chilies Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (18/12/2024) at 14.26 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, garlic cloves, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies surged the highest by Rp670 (1.89%) to Rp36,180 per kg. The price of bulk wheat flour decreased the most by Rp30 (0.3%) to Rp10,110 per kg.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,860 per kg (up 0.47%)
