Jambi Region Food Prices Monday (1/9), What is the Price of Cayenne Pepper?

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (1/9/2025) at 10.18 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include consumption sugar, bulk cooking oil, pure beef, broiler eggs, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, skipjack tuna, packaged cooking oil, mackerel, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili prices increased the most by Rp3,964 (11.33%) to Rp38,964 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices dropped the sharpest by Rp3,667 (10.48%) to Rp31,333 per kg.
