Banten Food Price Update Today: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Sunday, December 31, 2023)

The price of several food commodities in Banten today is observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 13:17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili, chicken eggs, iodized fine salt, chicken meat, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef prices surged the highest by Rp1,240 (0.93%) to Rp134,820 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili decreased the most by Rp1,420 (2.27%) to Rp61,260 per kg.
