Latest Indonesian Food Prices: What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (December 3, 2024) at 2:10 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, shallot garlic cloves, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk wheat flour, curly red chilies, farmer-level corn, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp290 (0.74%) to Rp39,450 per kg. Red chilies saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp410 (1.07%) to Rp37,900 per kg.
