Latest Food Prices in Bali: Prices of Sugar, Eggs, and Cooking Oil Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (9/5/2024) at 14:46 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, premium rice, skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, farmer-level corn, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp2,110 (5.74%) to Rp38,880 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt decreased the most by Rp2,030 (15.71%) to Rp10,890 per kg.
