Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (27/4/2024) at 16.53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), milkfish, chicken eggs, and chicken meat.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, garlic bulbs, premium rice, fine iodized salt, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was skipjack tuna, up Rp920 (2.76%) to Rp34,200 per kg. The commodity with the lowest price decrease was curly red chili, down Rp4,910 (11.6%) to Rp37,400 per kg.
