Current Food Prices in West Java, What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (2/7/2024) at 13.42 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, tongkol fish, kembung fish, and bandeng fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, red chili peppers, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp470 (4.51%) to Rp10,890 per kg. Shallots experienced the steepest price drop, falling Rp1,000 (2.95%) to Rp32,940 per kg.
