Latest Food Prices in East Java: Prices of Eggs, Beef, and Chilies Drop

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (29/9/2024) at 18:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, bulk wheat flour, medium rice, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp660 (2.97%) to Rp22,860 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp680 (3.38%) to Rp19,460 per kg.
