10 Provinces with the Highest Garlic Prices (Friday, March 31, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of garlic (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 39,840 per kg, data as of Friday, March 31, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 37,100 per kg.

The daily price of garlic in modern markets in Yogyakarta Special Region was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 66,800 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of garlic in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 52,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Gorontalo's modern markets, garlic was sold at Rp 65,950 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of garlic in West Papua was Rp 51,150 per kg, Southeast Sulawesi Rp 49,450 per kg, and North Maluku Rp 47,750 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 23 provinces with garlic sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest garlic selling prices are Jambi, West Sulawesi, and Riau Islands.
