Bali Food Prices on Monday (December 2nd): What's the Price of Chicken?

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (2/12/2024) at 11:12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, premium rice, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, mackerel, bulk wheat flour, medium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp3,090 (18.1%) to Rp20,160 per kg. Mackerel experienced the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp650 (1.76%) to Rp36,310 per kg.
