Daily Prices of Green Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets Across Central Java Province Have Decreased by 3.16% Over the Past Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in Central Java Province has decreased by Rp 700 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 44,450.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets has decreased from Rp 45,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in Central Java over the past three months has increased by 57.9% from Rp 28,150.

The record high for the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with a 65.17% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2020 at -33.64%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities today in Central Java show nine commodities decreased and 21 others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases are Super I Quality Rice, Inferior I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium I Quality Rice, Quality 2 Beef, Medium II Quality Rice, Quality 1 Beef, Beef, and Rice.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the past month in Central Java Province:

2. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg Rp 22,300/kg (up 5.94%)
3. Super I Quality Rice per Kg Rp 17,350/kg (down 3.88%)
4. Red Chilies per Kg Rp 83,300/kg (up 55.7%)
5. Super II Quality Rice per Kg Rp 16,550/kg (up 0.61%)
6. Inferior I Quality Rice per Kg Rp 13,050/kg (down 1.14%)
7. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg Rp 21,300/kg (down 0.23%)
8. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp 45,450/kg (up 3.18%)
9. Large Red Chilies per Kg Rp 89,800/kg (up 64.02%)
10. Medium I Quality Rice per Kg Rp 14,850/kg (down 1.33%)
