Today's Food Prices in Bali, January 28: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Cooking Oil Down

The prices of several food items in Bali today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (28/1/2026) at 16:05 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 4 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken meat and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as large red chili, Minyakita cooking oil, curly red chili, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp1,473 (3.04%) to Rp49,917 per kg. Minyakita cooking oil price, on the other hand, experienced the sharpest drop of Rp575 (3.41%) to Rp16,275 per liter.
