Food Prices Thursday (30/10) in D.I Yogyakarta: Chili Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (30/10/2025) at 2:30 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were red cayenne pepper, medium rice, large red chili, premium rice, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, garlic cloves, pure beef, broiler chicken eggs, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper jumped the highest by Rp1,272 (5.1%) to Rp26,227 per kg. Meanwhile, garlic cloves' price dropped the sharpest by Rp704 (2.3%) to Rp29,963 per kg.
