Food Prices in West Java, Monday (July 29th): What's the Price of Fish?

Food prices in West Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (29/7/2024) at 08.37 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 19 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are red chilies and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, iodized fine salt, farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp6,330 (8.97%) to Rp76,880 per kg. Iodized fine salt experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,730 (16.12%) to Rp9,000 per kg.
