Latest Food Prices in East Java: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (24/4/2024) at 15:49 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are wheat flour (bulk), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, shallot cloves, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, milkfish, broiler chicken, mackerel, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp820 (2.44%) to Rp34,380 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices decreased the most by Rp1,290 (3.9%) to Rp31,810 per kg.
