Today's Food Prices in West Sumatra on February 25: Chicken Meat, Egg and Red Chili Prices Drop

Some food commodity prices in West Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (February 25, 2026) at 15:59 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 7 decreased in price.

The commodities that experienced price increases are red cayenne pepper, beef rump, and premium packaged palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler chicken meat, large red chili, Minyakita, Honan garlic, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Beef rump price jumped the highest by Rp263 (0.18%) to Rp146,520 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili price dropped the most by Rp1,448 (3.01%) to Rp46,588 per kg.
