Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Chili Prices Up, Rice Prices Down (Tuesday, February 20, 2024)

Food prices in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (20/2/2024) at 12.07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, pure beef, skipjack tuna, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, medium rice, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most by Rp2,510 (3.44%) to Rp75,430 per kg. The price of medium rice decreased the least by Rp230 (1.52%) to Rp14,950 per kg.
