East Java Food Prices Monday (May 6th): Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (6/5/2024) at 13:55 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, farmer-level corn, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, skipjack tuna, curly red chilies, medium rice, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken increased the most by Rp900 (2.57%) to Rp35,950 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the least by Rp860 (3.64%) to Rp22,780 per kg.
