D.I. Yogyakarta Food Prices Today: Cooking Oil Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (September 1, 2025) at 09.35 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are milkfish, curly red chili, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, garlic, mackerel, Minyakita, and dried soybean seeds (imported) decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Milkfish price increased the most by Rp1,917 (4.9%) to Rp41,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red cayenne pepper dropped the most by Rp4,750 (18.27%) to Rp21,250 per kg.
