Bali Food Prices Friday (April 26th): Chili Prices Up, Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (26/4/2024) at 16.10 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 8 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), dry soybean (import), premium rice, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as fine iodized salt, bulk wheat flour, mackerel fish, chicken eggs, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most by Rp6,490 (17.18%) to Rp44,260 per kg. The price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most by Rp280 (3.6%) to Rp7,500 per kg.
