Latest Indonesian Food Prices: Prices of Chilies, Eggs, and Beef Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (15/11/2024) at 14.10 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, medium rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, skipjack tuna, red chilies, dry soybean (import), and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp310 (1.1%) to Rp28,530 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the steepest price decrease of Rp360 (0.85%) to Rp41,940 per kg.
