Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili and Chicken Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (18/9/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, broiler chicken, and red chili.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, granulated sugar, garlic cloves, simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,880 (9.43%) to Rp21,820 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased the most, by Rp210 (1.86%) to Rp11,100 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp33,650 per kg (up 0.15%)
7. Broiler Chicken: Rp33,380 per kg (up 0.79%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,600 per kg (down 0.12%)
9. Red Chili: Rp21,820 per kg (up 9.43%)
