Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Fish Up, Salt Down (Sunday, December 24, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (24/12/2023) at 10:23 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, shallots, and red onions.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, fine iodized salt, mackerel, bulk wheat flour, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp3,290 (8.73%) to Rp40,990 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt decreased the most by Rp1,070 (8.89%) to Rp10,970 per kg.
