The price of Super II quality rice in West Sumatra is Rp 19,200 per kg (Monday, August 12, 2024).

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 15,800 per kg for Super II quality rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Monday, August 12, 2024. Overall, the average price this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 15,740 per kg.

The daily price of Super II quality rice in modern markets in West Sumatra was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 19,200 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of Super II quality rice in this province is higher, previously recorded at Rp 17,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Banten's modern markets, Super II quality rice was sold at Rp 18,150 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of Super II quality rice was Rp 17,750 per kg in North Kalimantan, Rp 17,450 per kg in West Papua, and Rp 16,950 per kg in Bengkulu.

Meanwhile, 15 provinces had Super II quality rice prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for Super II quality rice were South Kalimantan, DKI Jakarta, and West Sulawesi.
