The price of curly red chilies in East Kalimantan is Rp 156,300 per kg (Monday, August 12, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of curly red chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 81,220 per kg, as of Monday, August 12, 2024. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to last week's average of Rp 83,210 per kg.

The daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in East Kalimantan was the highest in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 156,300 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of curly red chilies in this province is higher; previously recorded at Rp 42,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Maluku, the price of curly red chilies was sold at Rp 133,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of curly red chilies in West Kalimantan was Rp 129,900 per kg, South Kalimantan Rp 124,900 per kg, and Southeast Sulawesi Rp 106,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 17 provinces with curly red chili sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for curly red chilies are North Sumatra, Jambi, and West Sulawesi.
