10 Provinces with the Highest Prices for Medium-Sized Shallots (Tuesday, August 6, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of medium-sized shallots (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 54,660 per kg, as of Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 58,700 per kg.

The daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in North Maluku was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 88,200 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of medium-sized shallots in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 53,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in East Kalimantan, the price of medium-sized shallots was sold at Rp 87,850 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of medium-sized shallots in West Nusa Tenggara was Rp 70,700 per kg, East Nusa Tenggara Rp 69,900 per kg, and Riau Rp 67,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 17 provinces with sales prices of medium-sized shallots below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for medium-sized shallots are Jambi, North Sumatra, and West Sulawesi.
