10 Provinces with the Highest Prices for Low-Quality Rice (Type II) (Monday, August 12, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 13,900 per kg for low-quality grade II rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Monday, August 12, 2024. Overall, the average price this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 13,810 per kg.

The daily price of low-quality grade II rice in Maluku's modern markets was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 17,050 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of low-quality grade II rice in this province is higher; previously it was recorded at Rp 12,800 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, low-quality grade II rice was sold at Rp 16,550 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of low-quality grade II rice was Rp 15,800 per kg in Bali and South Sumatra, and Rp 15,600 per kg in Aceh.

Meanwhile, 13 provinces had low-quality grade II rice prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for low-quality grade II rice were Riau Islands, Jambi, and West Nusa Tenggara.
