Bali's Latest Food Prices: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Monday, April 15, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (15/4/2024) at 11:35 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, pure beef, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, Indian mackerel, skipjack tuna, fine iodized salt, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp930 (2.34%) to Rp40,590 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,790 (8.25%) to Rp42,170 per kg.

6. Garlic Bulbs: Rp38,150 per kg (down 1.01%)
7. Milkfish: Rp36,810 per kg (unchanged)
8. Indian Mackerel: Rp36,400 per kg (down 4.29%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,890 per kg (up 0.54%)
