Food Prices Friday (12/9) in Indonesia: Chicken Meat Up, Bird''s Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (12/9/2025) at 09.11 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 22 decreased.

Commodities with price increases are broiler chicken meat, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, fresh buffalo meat (local), and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Skipjack tuna increased the most by Rp548 (1.56%) to Rp35,636 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird''s eye chili price decreased the most by Rp3,574 (7.46%) to Rp44,337 per kg.
