Bali's Daily Food Prices: Salt and Chili Prices Drop

Food prices in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (26/3/2025) at 11:21 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, red onions, granulated sugar, Minyakita (a subsidized cooking oil brand), and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, granulated salt, dry soybeans (import), packaged cooking oil, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp3,773 (4.72%), reaching Rp83,625 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp1,993 (3.87%), reaching Rp49,545 per kg.
