Food Prices in Banten, Sunday (1/12): What's the Price of Chicken?

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (1/12/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, shallots, skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp540 (4.69%), reaching Rp12,060 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp610 (7.07%), reaching Rp8,020 per kg.
