Today''s Food Prices in Banten: Salt Rises, Buffalo Meat Falls

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (9/14/2025) at 08.07 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 19 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are packaged wheat flour, curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, consumption salt, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, fresh local buffalo meat, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Consumption salt commodity increased the highest by Rp1,463 (14.82%) to Rp11,333 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) decreased the sharpest by Rp115,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
