Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chili Padi Rises, Red Chili Falls

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (1/11/2025) at 1:55 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include curly red chili, skipjack tuna, medium rice, Minyakita cooking oil, and red chili padi.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, broiler chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili padi increased the most by Rp352 (0.97%) to Rp36,606 per kg. The price of large red chili decreased the most by Rp1,398 (2.71%) to Rp50,185 per kg.
