Sumatera Selatan Food Prices, Thursday (April 10th): What's the Price of Red Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (10/4/2025) at 12:52 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel fish, SPHP rice, Minyakita cooking oil, premium rice, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, large red chilies, dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest at Rp1,811 (2.59%) to Rp71,700 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp1,220 (2.67%) to Rp44,423 per kg.
