Today''s Food Prices in West Java: Red Chili Up, Onion Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (September 11, 2025) at 10:22 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 8 commodities saw an increase and 15 commodities saw a decrease.

Commodities with price increases include large red chilies, pure beef, dried soybean seeds (imported), skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, premium rice, garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest surge of Rp3,764 (7.69%) to Rp52,722 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices fell the deepest by Rp1,304 (3.43%) to Rp36,761 per kg.

5. Mackerel: Rp41,618 per kg (down 0.59%)
6. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp38,619 per kg (down 1.35%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp38,155 per kg (up 0.18%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp37,515 per kg (up 1.56%)
9. Milkfish: Rp37,182 per kg (down 1.71%)
