Price of Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets for the Period March 2025-2026

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets of South Sulawesi province is recorded at Rp20,650 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day as well as over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp24,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets of South Sulawesi has dropped by 19.81% over the past three months. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets of South Sulawesi province was traded at Rp25,750 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of green bird's eye chili in traditional markets of this province was previously recorded in February 2024 with an increase of 26.25%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2022 with a decrease of -16.97%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, among the nine staple foods (sembako) monitored today in South Sulawesi, five commodities have decreased in price while six others have increased. The staple foods with price decreases are Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Bird's Eye Chili and Curly Red Chili.
