Today's Food Prices (03/3) in West Sumatra: Onion and Bird's Eye Chili Prices Drop

Several food commodity prices in West Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 3, 2026) at 15:59 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price were broiler chicken eggs and large red chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, shallots, red bird's eye chilies, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity increased the most by Rp292 (0.77%) to Rp38,167 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices dropped the most by Rp1,291 (3.11%) to Rp40,267 per kg.
