Daily Prices of Premium Quality Granulated Sugar in Modern Markets of Central Java Province Increased by 0.29% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in Central Java Province has decreased by Rp 50 per kg compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 17,400 per kg.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp 17,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in Central Java over the past three months has decreased by 0.29%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in Central Java Province is traded at Rp 17,450 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of premium granulated sugar in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 40.96%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -29.86%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Java show 16 commodities decreased and 14 increased. Basic commodities with decreased prices are: Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Low-Quality Rice II, Cooking Oil, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Chicken Meat, Medium-Sized Garlic, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Grade 2 Beef, Medium-Quality Rice II, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Rice, Garlic, and Low-Quality Rice I.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the past month in Central Java Province:

3. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg Rp 20,850 per kg (down 2.8%)
4. Low-Quality Rice II per Kg Rp 12,000 per kg (down 7.69%)
5. Chili per Kg Rp 95,450 per kg (up 93.61%)
6. Granulated Sugar per Kg Rp 17,400 per kg (up 1.16%)
7. Cooking Oil per Kg Rp 20,800 per kg (down 1.65%)
8. Curly Red Chili per Kg Rp 77,300 per kg (up 30.8%)
9. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg Rp 20,950 per kg (down 0.71%)
10. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp 41,550 per kg (down 8.38%)
11. Medium-Sized Garlic per Kg Rp 50,000 per kg (down 5.66%)
