Price of Super II Quality Rice in Traditional Markets, May 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 14:44 WIB, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in East Java Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp14,950.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in East Java over the last three months has increased by 1.7% from the previous price of Rp14,700.

The record high for the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2020 with a 26.24% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in October 2020 with a -20.79% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Java show 14 commodities decreased and nine others increased. The sembako with decreased prices are: Daily Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Large Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Premium Quality Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Loose Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Local Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.

7. Red Chili per Kg, daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp39,700 (down 19.88%)
8. Medium-sized Garlic per Kg: Rp40,900 (up 4.6%)
