Current Food Prices in Jambi Region: Red Chili Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (26/8/2025) at 10.17 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 6 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, skipjack tuna, red onion, consumption sugar, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, milkfish, red cayenne pepper, consumption salt, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Large red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp1,167 (4.05%) to Rp30,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red cayenne pepper dropped the sharpest by Rp3,561 (8.88%) to Rp36,550 per kg.
