Daily Chicken Egg Prices at Modern Markets in Yogyakarta Province Increased by 1.61% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 16:53 WIB, the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in the Yogyakarta Special Region province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets has increased from the previous record of Rp24,850 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in Yogyakarta Special Region over the last three months has decreased by 9.01%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in the Yogyakarta Special Region province is traded at Rp27,750 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 38.14%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2018 with a decrease of -14.18%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Yogyakarta Special Region show seven commodities decreased and four increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Cooking Oil, Branded Cooking Oil 1, Large Red Chili, Red Chili, Curly Red Chili, Chili, and Red Chili.
