Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Rice Prices Up, Salt Down

Prices of several food items in South Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (5/11/2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 7 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include medium rice, pure beef, shallots, packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, packaged wheat flour, Minyakita, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp430 (1.52%) to Rp28,650 per kg. Meanwhile, consumption salt prices decreased the most by Rp169 (1.54%) to Rp10,813 per kg.

10. Milkfish: Rp28,650 per kg (up 1.52%)
