Bali's Daily Food Prices: Cooking Oil Up, Chilies Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (30/8/2024) at 09.07 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, red chilies, skipjack tuna, curly red chilies, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,650 (16.0%) to Rp11,960 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp7,030 (21.95%) to Rp25,000 per kg.
