Food Prices in Jambi on Tuesday (30/4): Sugar Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (30/4/2024) at 18.20 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are granulated sugar and dry soybean seeds (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, garlic bulbs, red chilies, milkfish, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of imported dry soybean seeds saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp70 (0.57%) to Rp12,300 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of milkfish saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp1,930 (6.91%) to Rp26,000 per kg.
