Latest Food Prices in West Java: Rice Up, Chilies Down

The price of several food commodities in West Java today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (10/11/2024) at 15.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, Indian mackerel, dry soybean (import), and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, broiler chicken meat, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase is dry soybean (import), rising by Rp180 (1.82%) to Rp10,070 per kg. The commodity with the steepest price decrease is red chilies, falling by Rp1,240 (4.53%) to Rp26,130 per kg.
