Today''s Food Prices in Bali Region: Salt Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today were observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (September 11, 2025) at 3:06 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 saw an increase and 9 saw a decrease.

Commodities with price increases include corn at the farmer level, bulk wheat flour, consumption salt, red cayenne pepper, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, large red chili, consumption sugar, pure beef, and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Consumption salt saw the highest increase of Rp175 (1.62%) to Rp10,958 per kg. Red onions, on the other hand, experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp1,174 (3.44%) to Rp33,000 per kg.

5. Curly Red Chili: Rp33,889 per kg (up 1.25%)
6. Red Onion: Rp33,000 per kg (down 3.44%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,000 per kg (down 1.03%)
8. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp31,125 per kg (up 0.69%)
9. Garlic Bulb: Rp30,625 per kg (down 0.37%)
10. Large Red Chili: Rp29,250 per kg (down 1.79%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,571 per kg (down 0.09%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp19,542 per liter (up 0.33%)
