Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Salt Up, Onions Down (Wednesday, January 24, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (24/1/2024) at 08.06 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, medium rice, premium rice, garlic bulbs, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,120 (11.39%) to Rp10,950 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp5,850 (17.84%) to Rp26,940 per kg.
