Food Prices Today, January 23 in Jambi: Red Chili Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Food prices in Jambi today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (Jan 23, 2026) at 15.38 WIB, out of 15 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were curly red chili and large red chili.

Meanwhile, only red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp1,000 (3.66%) to Rp28,333 per kg. The price of red bird's eye chili fell the sharpest by Rp1,666 (2.86%) to Rp56,667 per kg.
