Today's Food Price List in Central Java: Chili Pepper, Beef, and Egg Prices Increase (Friday, January 5, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (5/1/2024) at 11:37 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, medium rice, granulated sugar, premium rice, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp270 (3.98%) to Rp7,060 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the lowest price decrease, dropping by Rp2,540 (3.68%) to Rp66,550 per kg.
