Food Prices Wednesday (27/8) West Sumatra: Bird''s Eye Chili, Red Chili, and Chicken Meat Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (27/8/2025) at 12:37 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include packaged wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, large red chili, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, chicken eggs, premium rice, farmer-level corn, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili commodity increased the most by Rp1,116 (3.04%) to Rp37,885 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of pure beef decreased the most by Rp3,304 (2.31%) to Rp139,904 per kg.
